For Sam, feeling alive is all about continuous discovery and human interaction:
"I think what makes me feel alive is connecting with new people, getting to experience new things every day. What's the point in living if you've not got something new going on every single day? Personally, I just wanna go out & explore... That's like my goal in life!"
Opening up about the personal challenges he has faced, Sam reflects on navigating Type 1 diabetes since childhood:
"I'm type one diabetic, first of all... I was diagnosed when I was about 10, 19 now. So that was quite challenging... I was a bit ill when I was younger. I'm over it now, thank God. I've had a little bit of adversity in my life, but without it, you can't become a well-rounded person."
