For Jagoda and Evelyn, vitality is found right at the heart of the local music scene:

"Live music... We go to loads of local gigs in Plymouth and... you go to some in Exeter, right? A lot of local bands that we know. Supporting grassroots music is really important, and it makes a lot of people very happy."

Reflecting on their friendship, which started around a month prior through mutual friends in the music scene and college, they highlight how refreshing it is to connect effortlessly:

"We have mutual friends as well, sort of in the the music scene, through college and things... We can talk about anything, and it's not awkward at all."

Closing our conversation, they share an encouraging message on authenticity:

"Just be yourself... Yeah, just like give it a go, go into it, don't be scared... Because the worst that can happen is you're not yourself, and then you have to put up this mask and pretend to be someone you're not just to make a friend, and it's not worth it."
